Frequently Asked Questions

How do I book a call?

Booking a call is very simple and takes less than a minute! Only customers of partners we work with can be referred for a call. Partners have access to the booking system which asks only for a name, telephone number, email address (if available) and the referring partner’s name.

Who can book a call?

Pocket Power partners with a variety of organisations who support people on low incomes (such as housing associations and organisations supporting older people). Only customers of these partners can book in for a call with Pocket Power. If you would like to speak to us about becoming a partner, please get in touch by emailing info@pocket-power.co.uk or call us on 0203 386 9799.

How much does it cost to work with Pocket Power?

We offer a variety of contract prices depending on the number of likely referrals in a year. Please get in touch with us at info@pocket-power.co.uk to discuss your specific requirements.

How does Pocket Power work with partners?

Pocket Power offers unlimited training to partner organisations who will be referring customers to Pocket Power. Monthly reports are created at the start of every month to share data on the number of referrals, money saved (and how) and return on investment.

How does Pocket Power make money?

As a social enterprise, our priority is to achieve the best possible outcomes for the people we talk to rather than suggest deals which give us commission. Therefore, we prefer to charge an annual fee to our partners to cover the cost of the service rather than a commission model which wouldn’t always deliver the best results for customers.

What makes Pocket Power a social enterprise?

Although we are a limited company we have a legal primary social purpose, which is: “To promote financial inclusion for people on low incomes in the UK, including but not exclusively by helping them get better deals on household bills.” This means that any shareholder value is secondary in importance to our social purpose.
