Ways to access white goods

It is sometimes possible for people to get free white goods (eg. cooker, fridge freezer, washing machine etc.) from various philanthropic organisations. At Pocket Power we can help our customers apply for these items.

This page outlines the current organisations (that we are aware of) that offer them. Note that grants may also be available for wider furniture needs such as beds as well. A customer’s ability to get these goods can depend on geography and the time of year so it can be a bit of a lottery. In many cases the customer will be required to be a customer of the utility company, be able to provide proof of household income and sometimes other things like debt advice.
